内容紹介：

産業技術総合研究所地質調査総合センター発行の5万分の1地質図幅「戸賀及び船川」地域の地質（第2版）の作成に使用された珪藻化石層序データの詳 細を報告する。この図幅は、日本海側の代表的な新生界が分布する秋田県の男鹿半島地域を含む。 本報告では、中新統の西黒沢層・女川層・船川層、鮮新統～下部更新統の南平沢層・西水口層、それに中部更新統の戸賀火山噴出物から産出した海生珪藻化石の 層序学的分布と相対産出頻度を記載する。
