Trenching survey of the Kushibiki fault in Yorii Town, Saitama Prefecture.
A sharp reverse fault cutting the base of Holocene black soils appeared on the trench wall. Three faulting events were identified by detailed trench-wall observation. Among the three events, the latest one was dated as around 6,000 years BP on the basis of 14C dating results. See reports by Shintani et al. (pages113-133).
